A new month. A new beginning. A new full moon.
Each month at the time of the full moon, it’s important to be mindful and take inventory on what’s working for you and what isn’t.
The things that are not working…it’s time to let go off.
Over the course of the next few days the full moon will be at it’s peak. Take some time to meditate and reflect on the things in your life that’s not serving you.
During these uncertain times, we all have a lot of fears, doubt and general anxiety about the future.
While it is completely normal to feel this way it’s also important to remain grounded and to realize we can only control our thoughts and actions. That’s it.
Which is why it’s important for our own self to become grounded and positive…by leting go.
I know, I know…..saying these two words, “let go” is a hell of a lot easier said then done.
Choosing to “let go” doesn’t mean you automatically just “let it go”. It will constantly keep coming back and surfacing. And that’s okay, it’s completed normal.
As long as we are mindful when these non serving thoughts enter our minds, we then have the power to simply shift our attention to a better thought.
A full moon ritual that might aid in your healing or journey of letting go, is to write down all the things in your life that is no longer serving you. It helps to write them on pieces of paper and then during the full moon have a bon fire and throw them in. It’s a powerful act to represent how to let go.
